Mission Statement

 

CHAS CL's mission is to alleviate homelessness and indebtedness, and to improve access to adequate quality housing by:

 

  • providing high-quality housing and debt advice for those in need of it, particularly those referred by social landlords and other appropriate organisations

 

  • working in partnership with other relevant agencies

 

  • providing training and consultancy services

 

General Information

For free housing and debt advice, please telephone 020 7723 5928. The Advice Line is staffed on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm, and on Thursday from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm (excepting Public Holidays). On Thursday afternoon and all day Friday the office is closed for casework. There is currently no drop-in service, but you may call us to arrange an appointment with an advisor.
